Tell us a little bit about yourself

I'm a person who loves human interaction, connect and creating relationships among like-minded people.  I'm very focused on spiritual purists that draw me into experiences that bring me outside of mundane reality. I'm a free-spirited, strong-willed and an open-hearted person. I had a beautiful childhood, growing up on a farm then moving to the beachside when I was about 13 with my family. I am about to begin studying social science majoring in psychology, I'm at a point in my life where I know I'm supposed to be at work out in the world where I'm intended to be of help to others in a way that feels sacred to me, I'm glad to be 25 and have clarity towards my purpose in life,  it's taken a while, through challenges along the way but I've grown and come out the other side. I have a lot of trust in the unknown and the future.

What is something powerful that you believe?

I believe in everything good. I believe in equality for all living beings, everything that makes up our universe. The Earth and the Universe are what we all have in common. Our bond with Earth must change as we need to learn to work in harmony collectively. There is power in asking questions and asking why.

How did you find your confidence and do you have any tips to share?

I was lucky to be brought up to be confident, My Mother taught me from a young age what there was to love about myself including having confidence within. Maintaining that throughout growing into a woman has been challenging. We often hear the word self-love and sometimes disregard it as a fad of some sort,  I know I use to until I started paying attention to what it means to have self-love from within. To start self-loving (confidence) journey you need to begin by looking after your body from the inside out. What you put into your body is what you will get out of it. I struggled to understand that principle in my early teens and twenties, the best starting tip I could give someone or my past self would be eating a healthy diet. A healthy diet means a healthy body which in turn creates a healthy mind, unconsciously bringing positivity to your self-confidence and worth within. Awareness is the second-best tip, to help to sustain one's self-confidence. Having awareness of the thoughts and feelings within your conscious mind is a very powerful tool, observe how your thoughts react to your human actions and instead of dismissing them, acknowledge them understand what they are trying to teach you. Most of the time nothing major is required of us, simply a few moments of mindful awareness will connect us back to ourselves and lead us in the right direction, always listen to yourself. Lastly, If you are suffering from any kind of anxiety or depression that dulls or diminishes your sense of self,  I urge you to seek help. There is no weakness in seeking help to process our traumas or insecurities, there is only strength in doing the work. We are all worthy of love and support especially from ourselves. The harder the struggle the more spectacular the triumph. Self-confidence comes from within your soul.

What inspires you?

Love and relationships. Love inspires me to become a better person to hold more compassion and empathy for other people around me. Relationships inspire me to grow and to learn about what I like and what I don't like, they help me evolve as a human.

What are your favourite things to do for yourself?

Things I love doing for myself is taking a step away from reality, going to secluded beaches or taking to myself to a secret hot spring spa down in NSW or cooking a delish dinner that probably includes pasta, red wine and some jazz music. I enjoy switching off from the world for a couple of days and getting back nature.

What are you grateful for?

Life is simple for me, so what I am grateful at this moment in time is my family, my beautiful friends, a roof over my head and my infinite opportunities I have at my fingertips, I'm very grateful.

What are your top 3 fashion tips & who are your style icons?

Comfort is key, mix and matching is fun, learning about sustainable fashion is also very important. Fashion should be empowering for all women as self-expression to wear what they want. Never underestimate the power of a great outfit. A pair of blue jeans, a  white T and oversize blazer go along way. My style icons would be a mix between Audrey Hepburn, Mary-kate and Ashley Olsen.

Tell us something that made you smile recently

Butterflies! waking up this morning and seeing hundreds of beautiful butterflies coming from every direction. Something that's made me smile during this time is seeing the abundance of wildlife thrive in a new habitat without a high human footprint. I think it's very important to see how nature is responding to this pandemic, while we might be struggling as humans, in reality, wildlife is thriving and that makes me happy.
